Alastair’s PhD is in sociology and he specialises in solving the challenges faced by corporations that operate internationally, and the capabilities they require to achieve international growth.
Based in Oxford UK, Alastair has worked as a practicing manager before becoming a University lecturer. His subsequent international consulting career has spanned three decades and he has completed assignments across Europe, Russia, Middle East, Africa and North America.
Alastair has experience in Financial and Professional Services, Health, Education, IT, Advertising, Leisure, Hospitality, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Mining, Manufacturing, Automotive, NGOs and Government including assignments for the World Bank.
Alastair has taught in business schools in the UK and USA and continues to contribute to research on global leadership. He has developed extensive knowledge on international assessment and the use of virtual technologies to enable best practices to be shared internationally.
